President & CEO, Uncle Funky’s Daughter
Renee Rhoten Morris
Renee Rhoten Morris is the President and CEO of Uncle Funky’s Daughter, a successful all-natural hair product company that celebrates natural texture. She transformed the brand into a multi-million dollar enterprise in under five years, with products available in major retailers like Target and CVS. Passionate about uplifting her community, Renee focuses on supporting women and children’s financial independence while balancing her roles as a mother of four and an advocate for wellness.

Director and Strategic Advisor
Dr. Milton Morris
Milton M. Morris, Ph.D. is a seasoned Independent Director and Strategic Advisor with over 30 years of experience in both public and private companies, specializing in the commercialization of high-tech medical devices. He is the Founder of MEHL BioMedical and has led significant turnarounds, including at Neuspera Medical, where he achieved notable growth and regulatory success. A recognized leader and inventor with over 30 patents, Dr. Morris serves on multiple boards, including Nordson and Embecta, and holds advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Northwestern University. He resides in Houston, Texas, with his wife, Renee.
